Install OpenRewrite in Chrome Browser

  1. Press wrench icon (or press Alt-F) and go to Preferences → Basic → Search → Manage Search Engines
  2. Under Other Search Engines set OpenRewrite as your Default Search Engine:

    Note: this step is necessary for OpenRewrite Extension to function properly, you can revert back to using previous search engine if you don't like it.

  3. Install Open Rewrite Extension for Chrome
  4. That's it.

    Now you search using OpenRewrite. When you are not satisfied with the result, press Ctrl-I (or -I) to see what other search engine provides for you. When you want to modify or refine your query, press Ctrl-M (or -M).
